Also joining us for the NENMA Spring Conference on April 30th at the Radisson in Chelmsford, MA will be Jason Jacobs, founder and CEO of FitnessKeeper.
Jason brings to FitnessKeeper more than 10 years of experience in and around emerging technology companies, including roles in recruiting, sales, business development, and most recently, conducting CEO and VP level searches on behalf of leading venture capital firms. He is also an avid runner. In fact, he’s running in the Boston Marathon today, and recently completed the Chicago Marathon. Jason received his BA from Wesleyan University and his MBA from Babson College, where he was an Olin Fellow.
FitnessKeeper is a company that combines Jason’s passions for mobile and fitness. Jason’s first product, RunKeeper, is an iPhone application for runners and cyclists that has been downloaded more than 325,000 times since August, and featured in publications such as Xconomy, Lifehacker, Mashable, TechCrunch, The New York Times, and by Apple in a series of iPhone ads and on the walls of Apple stores.
Jason will be among a jam-packed set of panelists discussing what they’re doing to build a mobile media business.
There's still time to register for the NENMA Spring Conference, a 1-day event with two tracks: A sales boot camp led by Mel Taylor; and strategy sessions on the power and potential of hyperlocal and mobile media.
Sponsorships are also available for businesses wishing to seize an opportunity to speak with and network among a concentration of new media leadership from New England newspaper and other media organizations.
