Bangor Daily News hiring new media marketing and revenue manager

Marketing and Revenue Manager

The Bangor Daily News New Media Department has an opening for the position of Marketing and Revenue Manager. The person serving in this role will oversee marketing and sales for the online products of the Bangor Daily News and support the company as it seeks new areas for growth. He or she must be able to communicate effectively across multiple departments and with our audience to gather requirements, promote products and communicate feedback on projects. An understanding of New Media marketing and industry trends is crucial to successfully performing this job.

Particular focus for this position will be to work with the advertising department to create online advertising products and to develop new online revenue sources.

Successful applicants for this role will be energetic, have strong communication skills, be comfortable working with the public, have online experience, and preferably project management experience. Other necessary skills include the ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations, remain focused on business objectives and ensure that the delivered product best meets the department's objectives.
