Meetup with NESNE

The New England Society of Newspaper Editors will hold its annual convention next month, joined by members of the New England New Media Association. The event takes place on Friday, Nov. 14, at The Boston Globe.

Several new media panelists will speak at a session titled "Beyond Breaking News: How the Newsroom can help Your Media Organization become your market’s News and Information Resource." Come hear Jeanne Leblanc (online editor, courant.com), Andrea Panciera (online editor, projo.com) and Rebecca Holt (associate editor/digital operations,

That evening, four New England journalists, including a Colonial-era journalist, will receive the Yankee Quill Award for their contributions to the betterment of journalism in the six-state region.
